| This raffle is for 2 baskets containing $500.00 in Gift Cards per basket, donated by seven Monroe, LA businesses in support of the Chennault Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol hosted by the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum. There will be two (2) winners drawn on December 16, 2017. Basket #1- Holiday/Evening Out Basket: $125- Catfish Charlie's $125- Freddie Cascio's Italian & Cajun Ristorante $125- Waterfront Grill $125- Crawfish City Basket #2- Christmas Shopping Basket: $125.00-Simmons Sporting Goods $125.00-Tyner-Petrus True Value Hardware $250.00- Pecanland Mall Proceeds from this raffle (hosted by the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum) will help support the mission of the Chennault Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol. The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is a congressionally chartered, federally supported non-profit corporation that serves as the official civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force (USAF).CAP is a volunteer organization with an aviation-minded membership that includes people from all backgrounds, lifestyles, and occupations. It performs three congressionally assigned key missions: emergency services, which includes search and rescue (by air and ground) and disaster relief operations; aerospace education for youth and the general public; and cadet programs for teenage youth. Contributions will be used to provide fuel, hangar rental and operation costs for the local chapter of the Civil Air Patrol so they can continue to provide necessary assistance to the United States Air Force. These services are critical as was evident this year in part to the natural disasters that affected Louisiana, statewide. Raffle drawing will take place at a luncheon honoring our veterans at the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum on December 16th, 2017. Raffle winner will be drawn on Saturday, December 16th, 2017 at 1:00pm. Raffle tickets will stop being sold at 12:55pm on Saturday, December 16th, 2017. Raffle winner will be notified via e-mail and phone call. Coordination of raffle delivery will be settled upon once winner is announced. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery. |
